Tonights Echo..

On tonights Evening Echo there is an interesting comment in the "View from the Shed" by Ken O'Connor.He is giving his so called "half term marks" for the City players and runs through each player individually.When he comes to George O 'Callaghans marks he starts by saying "Now that the contract dispute is over,George can concentrate solely on helping the clubthat he loves reach the highs of which they belong".Does this mean that George has signed a new contract?.If so it would be nice to be informed as a fan as this would be great news and news which we are waiting for.If its not true,then where is Ken O Connor getting his information and why print it if its not 100% truth?.Maybe someone else can tell us..

To be fair RedX, diregard most of what he says. I mean he told us today that Greg will have to fight hard to regain his captaincy from big Dan. Now, im sure we all know that Greg relingquished the captaincy recently.


Aside from that, did anyone else feel that it was very similar to the Half Term Report in FourFiveOne last month??

actually i thought most of ken o connors stuff is normally lifted from threads here, didnt think he'd stooped as low ;) as the fanzine for material!

think twas in ken's early days when i saw a paragraph or 2 possibly lifted straight from here word for word!.. well either that or ken o connor is Colm, GWA, Pete, tictok and prob half a dozen others all at once!!

he's a muppet and the reason i dont get / read the echo on a thur!

definitely not me, i've seen his byline picture and i could be his dad (agewise - he hasn't inherited my dashing good looks ;) )

next time something is lifted from here, the person who wrote it should contact the echo screaming plagerism and intellectual ownership and demand payment :D :D

Doesn't surprise me...the echo really have got a fairly ****e soccer coverage team-this bollock-brain and spillage!What a pair!
In fairness to Spillage though, at least he makes up the crap he writes all by himself!

the coverage of city in the echo is a joke. conor george does a reasonable job as does mchale the odd time he bothers, but spillane is illiterate and ken o'connor's articles look like the result of a thesaurus going through a shredder :rolleyes: He makes no sense and just uses big words to try and look good (out of context as well), and on the rare occasions that it is halfway possible to make sense of the garbled bo||ox he spews, it is precisely that- bo||ox
