2. Lyon
Group B
1. Arsenal
2. Inter Milan
Group C
1. Deportivo La Coruna
3. AEK Athens
Group D
1. Juventus
4. Real Sociedad

Group F

1st phase is not great for watching as best teams wrap up qualification for the next round after 3-4 games. Too many non-event games. Quality on paper seems poor this year too.

I agree that the tournament doesn't really take off until you get rid of the teams that are going to fall by the wayside anyway, the first group stages rarely produce great surprises. i think arsenal could be in danger though, they don't travel well, and two long hauls to the former USSR could take a toll.
I think the top two seeds will go through in all groups bar Ajax edging out Celta Vico and Group D, which is the toughest looking, although that depends on Sociedad maintaining last years standard of play. Juve plus anyone from that group.
i can see the 'battle of britain' headlines already.
Galatasaray v Olympiakos might be interesting!

I think Celtic will get 2nd place.
3 good teams we have to play but Celtic have the strength mentally to overcome these teams.

That's the one I want to watch! Sadly we'll proabably have to deal with some less heated affair on the telly instead which, by law it seems, will have an English or Scottish team in it.
Anyone interested in going to Turkey for the match?:D
isn't SKY showing all matches this year on digital?

Group A
Bayern Munich
Celtic
2nd place will be very close though
Group B
Inter Milan
Dynamo Kiev
This looks like the most competitive group.
Group C
Deportivo La Coruna
PSV Eindhoven
Should be fairly straightforward
Group D
Juventus
Could be anyone 2nd
Group E
Manchester united
VfB Stuttgart
Group F
Real Madrid
Porto
Again fairly straightforward
Group G
Lazio
Sparta Prague
Don't think Chelsea will do enough away.
Group H
AC Milan
Ajax
Will be close with Celta Vigo for 2nd.
