typical easy group for Mancs and Chelsea :D

Pool will get through but will make me and the rest of the fans sweat buckets full and leave it til a 9th min injury time screamer from gerrard to get us through.

Its usually Liverpool who get the easy groups.

What a result for BATE - fantastic stuff. I know Levski are no great shakes but fair play regardless. Hopefully they can stick it to a few moneybags teams in the group stages..

Playing Real Madrid & Juventus

Greatest achievement in Champions League history?

What about NK Maribor from Slovenia knocking out Lyon in the 3rd qualifying round in 1999? Also Artmedia Bratislava beating Celtic 5-0 was a massive achievement.

And with Cyprus and Belarus now coloured in the Map of Countries who have had teams in the Champions League (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:UEFA_members_Champs_League_group_stage.gif) becomes ever more embarrassing for Ireland.

Juventus (Amauri, Salihamidžić)

Salihamidzic? Are you serious? He's only useful because he's versatile and works hard. He's a good player to have in the squad but he's hardly one to watch. Giovinco would have been a much better choice.
