Anyone have any idea on what sort of teams to expect? Anyone sending out their reserves, etc.

Plenty of money to be made here if you know the score.

"I foresee changes for Tuesday night. It is nothing to do with performances, I want to give the lads a run. There won't be a rake of changes, but there will be one or two and I want to give one or two of the lads a run out"

Any rumours regarding Ken Oman being unhappy down there? I know alot have said he has been poor, but is there any indcation he may be on his way out?

I haven't really heard too much about that to be honest. He's been alright, not as good as he was when he was up in Derry but he's getting his game every week.

We all know the League Cup is not the fans favourite, however why any manager would not play a full squad at this stage is beyond me, considering your 2 games of 15K not to mention the gate from these games (Semi etc).

Heard from sources Kenny wants to bring him back to replace Pizza. He did say at the end of last season that if Kenny had have been there last year he wouldnt have left.

So Pizza could be leaving? Always hoped he'd play for us before retiring. A real class act.

Would be an ideal situation, id be happy with it anyway, Pizza is past it now, too slow, still got skill but not for a top 4 team in the premier, might do a job in the Irish league or smaller EL club for a few years yet.

Maybe because we only got back from Wales yesterday, we have to fly out to Riga in a day or two and we were supposed to be playing Rovers today or tomorrow, instead we'll probably have to play them next Tuesday. Question is, play 2 League Cup games for 15k or 2 Intertoto games for 50k plus a big money game .v. Hibs in the 3rd round.

Didnt say he was leaving the club, would be there as cover. Also heard Kenny's trying to swap Callaghan in exchange for Holmes, to cover our left side options

We should have a full strength team and I expect UCD to have the same. It is the only chance of a highlight for both of us this season. Not overly confident and it will need us to cut out the many defensive mistakes to compete with them

We should have a full strength team and I expect UCD to have the same. Very much doubt it. This our fourth of five games in two weeks. Pete Mahon said after the last round that he'd stick with the players that beat Pats in the last round too.

Wuold expect only two or three first team players tonight. We only take it seriously from the semis. Imagine McFaul will play though, as he becomes eligible from tonight and presumably needs the match fitness.

Half thinking of going to UCD for my sins tonight (don't ask) Can any of you lads give me directions from the main gate?

If you're driving go in the Clonskeagh gate and follow the road and it's well signposted.

From the main gate, turn right, park in the car park on the left and follow the signs. You're aiming for the water tower. Specifically, it's behind the hockey pitch and astro pitches.

Alternatively, turn left and follow the road all the way around to the Sports Centre, park there and see above. But they close random segments of the road off to avoid rat races.

Cheers for the altruism. The water tower it is. Hope it's a good game.

Even more sickened that I can't go now. Would have been good to see ya again. Just got word yesterday that we start back pre-season training tonight so I'm heading to that, missed the Killester game last week too because I had an interview Wednesday morning and had a load of stuff to prepare. :(

Ah that's a shame. Would have been nice to have a natter with ya. Next time you're in Tolka sure. Good luck with pre-season, I'm back in a week, my Shels team got promoted season just gone. A good year.:ball:

Trying to find out who got our first goal. RTE, Livescore and the Beeb all saying McLean. extratime saying McGlynn.

Losing at home to Monaghan and Wexford in the cups.

Just as well Pete Mahon has left Bohs - the worst he'll get now is a Bodhran in the head....

Mahon must stay! :D

Doubt it, nobody is really bothered about the League Cup this year, we've more important matches to play, hence the team we put out where there is currently only 1 out-and-out defender playing at the back (and even at that he is playing out of position).

okay, okay we played our strongest team and we are gutted. I hope Derry goes on to win the cup so the shame and embarrassment of losing this game can be lessened...
