As usual Pat provided some interesting and entertaining subplots last night:

1 Casey got a right bollicking when he came off. Every time he tried to look away from Dolan during the talk, Dolan grabbed his head and turned his face back!

2 Dolan wanted to bring on Conor at a crucial stage when City were asleep but the piece of paper hadn't been given the Buttimer...Dolan lost it with a dramatic "for f**ks sake"

3 He had the earpiece /walkie-talkie thing again (same as last week when he was in the gantry). Suggests he has someone else up there now!?!

4 He ran onto the pitch after one of the goals and Buttimer tried to get him off (no jokes please). Dolan did his usual touchy-feely thing but Butts was having none of it. Dolan then got the stand to applaud Butts.

It's funny but to have such a charismatic individual on the sidelines is doing wonders for the game.

At work I am being constantly being quizzed by GAA and Rugby heads about him.

Legend.

And boy does he love it. He must realise that whatever good work he did in Dublin he has the potential to bring together an absolutely huge band of support down south.

Big Club.........no question!

His passion is infectious, and from what CC says it's sprreading fast to those who wouldn't normally hit the cross.
Dolan is worth so much to the club now from every aspect.
A legend already!;)

My boss just relocated from the UK, and knows nothing bout Eircom league. His 12 year old kid plays with some side in Douglas. Dolan presented them with medals or something a few months back and my boss hasn't stopped asking about him since.
He was totally blown away by Dolans enhusiasm and energy.

Thought the republished letter in last weeks programme from a teacher from Mayfield really showed what Dolan is all about. He seems to be relishing the captive audience of the whole County of Cork.

Could never imagine Gunther or any of the recent city managers visiting local underage clubs & schools as much as Dolan does.
