I was doing one of those email questionaires with some of my mates lately and one of the questions was "if you were a crayon what colour would you be" and to a man (& woman) everyone so far has replied with the same colour.

It has made me curious now and am wondering if we all really choose that colour or were too lazy to change it in the reply. So taking the random strangers on foot.ie I would like you to answer my poll and see if the results are the same.

I guess not Magicme...

A much better question, and one which has been doing the rounds over here is "if you were a sandwich, what kind would you be?"

The question is, does posting this to Foot.ie count toward the 10 forwardings you need to do for your crush to ask you out, thus avoiding the 10 years of terrible relationship luck?

eh no Gavin.

Am just curious to see what colours people would be. Seems that the good citizens of foot are a much more varied bunch than my friends so.

Pink. If people are going to pick me up and rub me against stuff, I'd rather it were mostly the female half of the population.

Ha ha John, you would need to be a different colour for me to pick you up more regularly tho!

I feel this poll is irrelevant without a turquoise option

That my dear would come under "other"

The other 7 options not good enough for you? You must have had posh crayon packs if they came with turquoise?

That my dear would come under "other"

"other" is not a colour I'm familiar with :p

I went for green instead, I think inspired by the lovely greenness of foot.ie.

I wish I had posh crayons, only ever got the cheap ones that went soft and broke in half after five minutes :(

Life was tough. Maybe that's why I fantasise about the exotic beauty of expensive turquoise crayons. One of my better off friends must have had some that I coveted.

Whoa, what have I unleashed. It was a simple question of me being nosy but now we are being embroiled in a deep seated psychological discussion.

I'd rather have the choice to not vote for Teal rather than Turquoise.

Magicme, how the flip else are people to react to such a difficult, soul-searching question? (unless they took the easy way out and decided on the basis of their favourite team's jersey colour of course.)

I think I come closest to yellow: Called upon to add a dash of brilliance, a splash of colour, to represent an aura of euphoria and revelation, and overall associated with magical, valuable things like the sun, gold, stars, sunflowers and bumblebees. Yes, if I were a crayon, I could only be yellow.

oh god oh god oh god. What have I done!

Its funny coz the colour of crayon I would be is different from my favourite colour.

Blue is simply my favourite colour. Most of my colours are a shade of blue and my room is painted blue. So of course, I'd be a blue crayon.

You need a practical crayon. Yellow for instance does not work on white paper.

You need a practical crayon.

Wouldn't that mean you'd be used a lot more, exploited, your rights violated, wasted down to a little dwarf crayon after a few days, dead after a few weeks? I'm happy to be yellow, stand tall, and live a long and glorious life. :)

Update on the email that sparked this question, one friend has deviated from the crayon colour trend this morning. Think I wont talk to her anymore.

Jesus, there's some strange stuff on here lately. Crayons ? Favourite Fonts ? Who's going to start the "Whats your favourite humming noise ?" thread :D

Don't knock them, they're helping to pass dull night at work. :)

Don't know if it's my very favourite colour, though it's one of them, but always thought there was something very pleasing about purple crayon. Apparently this makes me odd. :D

Am I the only one who used to pare his crayons? Dealing with the stump always annoyed me. The other kids called me weird.

You are weird. I used to pare them too tho.

And Stann, you were part of the inspiration for this thread being one of my 10 friends who replied that like me, if they were a crayon they would be purple!

Am I the only one who looks at the bar graph above and says to themselves something along the lines of "But I don't even like orange?"

Mr Maroon

I'd be green :D
