"The whole performance reminded me of the Derek Mountfield days at the club, and we do not want to go back down that road," snapped Murphy after another inept performance.

Maybe Murphy should take a hard look at himself and his 'management style'. The players certainly aren't trying but he doesn't seem to be able to change things round or motivate them.

we were better off with Mountie, we had three points if i remember correctly, Murphy had turned down the position and left Mountie at the helm, but it he didn't really part his part as Mounties side kick to the best of his ability at the time, he then saved the club after the controversy of Mounties sacking, but are we now back at square one?

At the time there were lots of appeals for patience for Mountie, hoping it would all come together, maybe Murphy deserves the same right now (i say this after some of the shouts in the shed at the end of the game) the thing is this year we dont have that much time to come back for the depths of one point in four games, it is now that it all has to happen, four go down and two come up.
