Who was our number 7 last night?

At first I just assumed that Johnny got his head shaved but upon closer inspection he looked a bit ginger...

I thought we played well second half, by the way, but we just showed again how badly we need someone who can finish chances. Although Gary Rogers had a fine game which didn't help.

I thought we deserved at least a goal, but on the strength of their domination in the first half Drogheda just edged it on the strength of that.

That was Mark Rooney with the mad haircut. Didn't do much. Again.

Thought Drogheda were muck last night - unfortunately, we were even worse and didn't seem to want to play football until it was too late (i.e. until we were 2-0 down).

Mick O'Donnell was suspended last night - 5 yellows (most for dissent :( ) Tony Mac could be back for Friday against Longford. Bring those two in, drop Rooney and Gallen, try 4-5-1 with Cawley and McNally given a free rein to press forward and Daz and Johnny Martin on the wings - might get us some joy?

Yeah, it was probably Rooney. He looked reasonably quick, not much else though.

That's what had us doing well last season, obviously with the likes of Doyler, Delaney and Super Bazza playing almost constant stormers (Well, bar Doyler but at least he scored regularly). Don't know how it'd work with the current line-up though, worth a try I s'pose.

Mick O', Tony Mac and Alan Mahon were in front of me in the crowd. What's wrong with Tony, exactly?

Have you noticed that a lpt of Drogheda fans have to be the moaniest barstewards on earth? Honestly, the entire crowd went mad after almost every decision that went against them...

I thought Hugh Davey did alright and everybody worked hard but at the moment we're just not good enough.

Tony Mac has a hamstring injury apparently.

Didn't notice the Drogheda fans going too mad - not more so than your usual know-it-all know-nothing fans anyway!!!

Incidentally, a crowd figure for last night - 1,300 only! That stand takes a hell of a lot fewer than I thought!

We did alright at times in the second - after Drogheda had relaxed of course - but at least Darragh Ryan and Pat Sullivan could waltz through the defence a couple times with ease. We've just forgotten what to do with the ball once we get to the opopsition penalty area! Tis a long time since we drew 3-3 with Skonto...

Our big problem is that all our strikers are injured or $hit with the possible exception of Griffin who is a decent attacker but should not be our main striker because he won't score enough goals. Having Sean Finn and Robbie Martin out for ages has seriously ****ed us up. Whatever about his failings, at least Robbie has the ability to score when he gets a decent chance on goal.

The game on Friday was pretty much a replay of the league game up there. We were awful in the first half and deserved to be 2 down. I missed the second goal as I was on my way for a pi$$ ($hit toilets by the way!) but I wasn't overly surprised that they scored again. In the second half, they sat back and we had loads of the ball but didn't seem to have a clue what to do with it. Sullivan was good again (have to find some crumb of comfort :( ).

How do you know what the toilets were like?! Not as if they had a light turned on or anything to let you see what you were doing!
