I want to buy a PVR so I can record one digital TV programme while watching another.
Only problem is I have integrated Freeview on my TV, but all the PVRs seem to come as part of a Freeview package ... so if I buy one I will have two Freeview systems. Surely that can't work?
What should I do?
What should I do?
Thank the fook that you actually have operational digital terrestrial available to you?
Presumably you TV has an input for scart that you could run the pvr in to the TV and bypass the integrated tuner? Boards.ie has terrestrial tv sub forum under ICDG where you might get a better answer...

That would be my suggestion too, though I dont know enough about PVR to answer, but anything that can take in a scart and output to another scart can be used as a flow control component and should therefore in theory at least let you "by-pass" it first.
