Kicks off the same week the league re-starts. I see one groups fixtures are published(on Limerick 37 site) but anyone have a list of the whole lot? Needless to say our league's official site (http://www.eircomloi.ie/the-divisions/a-championship/) doesn't have it.

Looks like Dundalk are not entering then.

Any indication as to when the games will be played, i.e. what day of the week? Sundays is it?

I'd be interested to see the Galway United A team in action to see what the younger lads are like.

Aye, they have opted not to enter any longer.

Aye, they have opted not to enter any longer.

Thankfully. We couldn't name 5 fit substitutes for a league match a couple of weeks ago and we wanted to enter the A league!

it will be at the disgression of the EL team, but I believe must of them will be 3.00pm saturday K.O. from what I have been told.

i see limerick 37 have entered a team in this.given we have barely a budget for the senior team i fail to see the logic of playing in this league.dont see where players will come from and best of all we will play our HOME GAMES in ennis.

If a 1st Division team also has an A-League team they cannot be relegated
as far as i know. Therefore L37 know that even if the results start going down
hill they will already have beaten the drop!

afraid not so if you go down your first team becomes your A team and your a team goes to the wall

same!

In other A-League news, Dave O'Brien has left/released Athlone and signed
for Mervue on Friday night. Young player who was promoted to the senior
squad last season but never really got a run out.

Tony Cousins was trying to sign him for Galway this year but then he got the
boot and the deal went with him

Not sure of his exact position as he played some underage/youths games at
full back but played as a striker for his school team, or so I've been told!

atfconline

He played striker/winger for our Youths Ash. Don't know what Cousins was doing trying to sign him to be honest.

For Galway's A team or U20s, presumably.

I wouldn't be so sure. If he was young, inexperienced and signed to a first division team he would have all the attributes of a Tony Cousins signing!!

He'd have to be injury prone too I'd assume...

We should be covering the A League as much as we possibly can.

First up, we wont be anywhere near the bottom of the table come end of season so this religation lark isnt an issue. We have the smallest budget in the league but i think its great that we, a first division club showing a bit of balls and entering. The players will all be signed as amaturs so our budget other then expences will not increase a great deal. ennis for the first 4 (home) games and we'll see after that.

I wouldn't be too sure of that.
