Scott Waites crusied through, he seems to choke on the main stage though.

Pity Mick MaGowen got beat by Priestley, Brendan Dolan is Ireland's only hope really, he is playing John McGowen from the North in all Ireland clash.

Is Bobby George around?
He's playing in the newly formed League Of Legends, he lost (bottled) his opener 7-5 against Eric Bristow : http://www.setantasports.com/en/Sport/News/Other-sports/2008/05/31/Darts-Bristow-on-Bobby-George-clash/?facets/sport-space/great-britain-locale/

The word legend is used too frequently, but if anyone deserves it its him

Why would they rig it to have them playing in the quarters? Would it not be better to have them meet in the final?!

Bristow was acting like a right b0llocks and was playing mind games with Bobby who lost out because of anger and frustration more than bottling it.

Yeah that's true, but Bristow knew what he was doing and so did Bobby, which is why I said that he bottled it. He knew that Bristow was trying to make him fall apart without using darts and Bobby obliged. It's not sporting behavior and it's probably not, generally speaking, a smart approach to a darts match but Bristow won't give a carp what we think anyway.

Well Done to Mawson, to beat Barney after his great win earlier in the day and to give Wade a solid game in the final.
