Man Utd sign Aaron Ramsey (http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_3644660,00.html)
Possibly the brightest talent in the championship and many in the football circles including myself feel that he's better than Theo Walcott who was the last major talent to leave the championship.
A great player with a great future and he's very tough for a 17 year old, he's not afraid to fly into challenges either.

Not yet. Only a fee has been agreed. Terms and a medical still have to be done. It looks extremely likely now though.

From the Cardiff City website:
"We can confirm that on Tuesday June 3rd the club has received formal bids from three top Premier League teams for Aaron Ramsey and that Aaron has been given permission to speak to two of these teams."

Saw him in the Cup final. Was very unimpressed. Theo Walcott mark 2 for me, United can have him.
He's only seventeen. He's not going to impose himself in every game he plays. Besides, Walcott is still very young and could yet turn in to a fantastic player.

He does look a good player, seen him a few times, he could be like another Giggs.

And if I practise real hard I can play the guitar like Jimi Hendrix...
You either got or you don't mi muchacho....
cannot remember seeing to many brilliant 17 year old players over the years bar wayne rooney .. so not to many either got it or don't .. nobody knows at 17 how they will progress but if utd want him you can be sure they will do their best over the next couple of years to turn him into a good player :ball:

Walcott will be a brilliant player, ya only have to look at the run against Liverpool in the Champions League to see a glimpse of the talent he has... pains me to say it too, I hate Arsenal
I would have agreed with you earlier this year Ruben as he did look like your typical brainless overhyped english player but its not just the run he did against Liverpool but for the last few months of the season Walcot has done quite well whenever he has played, his decision making has seemed to have improved a lot and he no longer dribbles into a cul de sac or takes low percentage shots as much as he used to, I think he will be a vital part of the Arsenal team next season

I agree.
As for Ramsey, I haven't seen much of him but now that he has signed for MU I can only hope that he won't make it :p

One great run in two season's?? It's getting easier and easier to be classed as a good player these days. Walcott is another example of the English getting over excited about a kid with a bit of potential. We should not have even heard of him yet if they had done it right. He should have spent a few seasons with Southampton then when he was ready signed with Arsenal. He went too soon and hasn't been able to live up to the hype. Watch Ramsey go the same way.
I just used that as it is the stand out incident which shows the kind of talent the lad has, he has played very well at times this season.Hes only a kid and is gonna get better and better

Because United fans might be a bit miffed to be told that Anderson is retiring from football to become the weatherman on MUTV?

rte have it to so it must be true .. Ramsey keen on Gunners switch
Tuesday, 10 June 2008 09:37
Aaron Ramsey has chosen to place his future in the hands of Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger after shunning offers from Manchester United and Everton.
The 17-year-old Cardiff midfielder was given the option of joining any of the Barclays Premier League trio after they met the Welsh club's valuation, thought to be around £5million.
And the FA Cup finalists revealed this morning that after a week of negotiations, Ramsey had opted for Emirates Stadium and Wenger's proven track record for nurturing world-class youngsters.
he will be able to nuture up to theo walcott on the bench now :D:D
...
dont think cardiff city are happy as both utd & everton had said they would let him go back to cardiff on loan if the signed him
