Ryan Babel has pulled out of Euro08 after damaging ankle ligaments in training.

I feel bad for the lad but, while it is a loss, it's not a huge loss to the Netherlands IMO.

He's a good impact sub, a bit of a headless chicken at times though. If Holland make the latter stages I certainly wouldn't have picked him as a key player but if they lose a narrow game people may wonder if he was the missing key.
