Yeah. I don't think City will be going down the road of Sat games for people. I'm thinking the 7pm KO is for the Drogs benefit, to get back afterwards.

from what i've heard, the latest on this:

at the start of the season the match was scheduled for saturday at 7.00 pm, but when the rule change came in a few weeks ago City moved all their home games to Friday evenings at 7.45pm. Drogheda have objected to next week's game being on Friday and everyone is waiting on a ruling from the FAI. As things stand no one knows for sure when the match is on, which means City can't print tickets which means if it isn't resolved soon the club won't be able to sell tickets to the Drogs match at Friday's match against Shams!

Once again we're faced with a situation where we don't know when we're playing our second to next match

I personnaly think they should play it on the Thursday as I'm up in Meath for the old Slane thingy on fri and sat...they could just postpone it until the Sunday nite....think they will if I asked???

Our match with them was on a Saturday wasn't? But then it was before the rules were changed mid-season so that no such disputes would occur.
Another OG for the league authorities I think.

Because the FAI ruled on the matter and it was final!!!!!!!
