Similar enough to our home one.

That's likely to be our home shirt next season.

I like Cork's gear. It is sharp.

Dundalk had a cool shirt many years ago which was black on the left and white on the right. Very snazzy.

Rovers' had a purple away kit when they were based in the RDS; it was muck.

Harps had a sponsor on the back of their jersy which was a toilet company which looked bizarre but hey, if it pays the bills....

great band but no match for crazy horse.

Jersey wise i think all the O'Neills jerseys are muck. Weird colours, cheap quality, prints where the colours are only on the outside. GAA jerseys fronting as football ones.

not just bad quality but bad suppliers as well don't send what order and very slow. hope we look into changing next year

Agree, O'Neills make terrible jerseys (with the exception of that Blackburn inspired Dundalk shirt Paddy was referring to).

Nike? Perhaps black and white stripes? ;)

Remember that one. It wasn't just purple, it had wavy patterns of different purple built into it I think.

Around the same time, Cork had a go at fitting as many colours as possible onto a kit; think they had white, red, green and black stripes at one stage.

That will be the design for our home one next year I'd say.

Aah yes. The tesco bag. Hard to beat.

More surprised Monaghan Utd have Nike on board. Often see that here where small clubs get Nike on board. Thats a nice shirt actually.

looked nicer on tv but still i like it.

Aye - the white one is class - will probably end up buying that and the home one.

Artists mockup of the white kit - where it's a bit clearer:

and we do have the flag on the back as Rovers do - seems a good idea for those clubs playing in Europe

I agreed - I think that was the best jersey design "ever to grace the LOI".
Ironic that they were away kits....

It has nothing to do with the GAA, Maroon is our county colour and i'm happy with it anyway :)

This should give you a look at Shels 3 jerseys that they are using this year, The bottom of the three is the new away that clashes with every other shirt on the planet...scroll down.

Yeah, think I remember that one. It looked like a stick of rock.

BTW - I think Corks shirts this year are awful. The green one they had when they won the league in 2005 was much nicer. Pats are nice, or they would be but for the PP logo, which spoils it. I like Derrys Agrentina away shirt.

Wasn't the away jersey the same design but green/black/white.
I actually liked that one.

I know FIFA banned sleeveless jerseys at some point, think they might have something to say about "boob-tube" style jerseys that show off the midriff. I'm sure Buttimer wouldn't allow it anyway!

Do Linfield have a ladies team? If that's their kit I might go along to one of their games, just for research purposes obviously!:D
