View Full Version : Ronaldo being Hunted !
Anybody hear the great man on Newstalk this morning ?
Anybody here speak Spanish ?
Apparently Calderon and Schuster have both done interviews with the Spanish press essentially saying that the deal is done.
Schuster is talking about where he will play in the side and how he will fit into the dressing room. Calderon is talking about a contract clause re: buying out his Man U contract.
Hunter described it as the most bizarre trade he had ever seen and had some choice views on the Hairdresser and why he doesn't either scotch all of this or say yep I am off.....
In true 1970's style, maybe he couldn't handle the wet Tuesday night in Sunderland in January - they don't like it up 'em

He has made no secret of the fact he wants to play for Real. His mammy wants him to sign up because she doesn't like Manchester??? As a Man Utd fan, if he wants to leave he can....
I personally think at this stage he is holding back Rooney from becoming great. I'd really prefer the goals to be spread out amonst the team. 65million and Real can have him.
One thing is for sure he won't be scoring 40 odd goals in Spain. He won't get sufficient space.
This aint nothing new from Real seems like they are back to their usual self. But then Ferguson aint no angel either....

Good bit of business by MU if they get £65m for him, I think he is overrated tbh, people get carried away with stats and claiming its amazing he scores that much as a wigger, but he does less tracking back than a normal striker so thats a moot point, not saying he is crap but I think there are a fair few other players in the world who could do as well at MU if giving the same role as him(ie no defensive responsibilities and players that will provide you with plenty of quality balls), with £65m they could easily replace him with someone like Villa and have plenty left over

I think they'll be finished as a force for a few years if they sell him. He's scored more goals for them than almost all the other players put together. He also has done lots of assists for the team and usually takes out the opposition's best man-to-man-marker. His diving wins them lots of penalties and free kicks. Not sure who they could buy to replace him, it could be another Veron incident where a good player is played in a system and league which he is utterly unsuited to... and without his service Rooney would be exposed as the average player that he is.

Won't someone please think of the people at Clearasil UK? If this boy leaves ...well, he might as well lock the factory gates and chuck the keys in the canal.

It's typical Madrid propaganda and basically I'm tired of it. If Ronaldo wants to leave I wish he'd open his mouth and say so. If not then put up or shut up. If he's commited to the European Champions:D then he should put all the speculation to bed.

Spanish press. Spanish, sporting press. Does the EU have a salt mountain anywhere?
Anyone hear Queiroz's rant about how Spain are trying to steal Ronaldo and turn him Spanish just like they did to Christopher Columbus? And Queiroz is supposed to be the next Utd manager, his guy has issues, hilarious stuff

ITV asked him on the pitch after the CL final and he said he is definitely staying, what more do you want

LOL.
2 days later he said there'd be news within 2-3 weeks. he's obviously at least thinking of a move.
Would be the greatest coup of all time if United got Sergio Ramos, 2 others and miltimillios for him. Ramos alone is worth it.
The Queiroz rant about them trying to make Ronaldo spanish was hillarious.

Even if they do, it wouldn't be big enough

They were happy to allow Real take Beckham and Heinze off their hands when it suited them, now they want to report Real for resorting to tactics they've perfected over the years.
Don't think he will move, tbh, this is the filler-inner media circus for the fact that the English :Dfailed:D to qualify for the Euro finals.
