According to the Post Rossi and mcauley will be there. Cooney should be back tonight as well as Conor who did not have an operation on the auld nose...Monagahan missing a few as well as the keeper so we should win....3-1 I'd say!!!

if Stevo and Cooney are playing. If not, maybe 1-0, 2-0 max. If they're fit then you could have a pretty strong starting xi such as: Loughman, O'Mahony, Finnucane, Purcell, Molan, Keating, Sweeney, Cooney, Heffernan, O'Flynn, Cosgrave. Subs: Healy, McCarthy, O'Donoghue, Whyte and Sugrue.
Whats gonna happen though is he'll stick with Healy in goals, play Keatso in the centre with Sweeney and play McCauley and Rossi wide, with Derek upfront, giving you: Healy, O'Mahony, Finnucane, Purcell, Molan, McCaulay, Keating, Sweeney, Cosgrave, McCarthy, O'Flynn.
Both decent teams in their own right, I just prefer it when Cooney plays as he adds a bit of bite and is a really class playmaker...But Mike dosen't seem to think so...is it because....NAH, LETS NOT START ALL THAT AGAIN....5-0 with my team.....1-0 with the real team;) ;) ;) ;)

I'd say both Cooney and Stevo are out.
Not much point in rushing Stevo back either for this game when Longford are coming up next Saturday.
So the team should be
Loughman; O'Mahoney, Finucane, Purcell, Molan; Cosgrave, Sweeney, Keating, Whyte, Sugrue; McCarthy. Subs: McCauley, Heffernan, O'Donoghue, Kerley, Healy
Raises an interesting question. What do people think is the best available XI? If we have no injuries from the current squad.
For me it is
Loughman
O'Mahoney, Finucane, Purcell, Keating
Sugrue, Sweeney, Cooney, Cosgrave
O'Flynn, McCarthy
I haven't seen McCauley play yet so haven't included him. That is a fine side though, well capable of promotion.
Lads, I won't be at the game tonight. Can't make it up, because I've just bought a house and I'm in the process of moving in. And it is only Monaghan after all. :)

Can we make sure that Ralph announces that Steve O'Mahoney has been selected for the U-19s. Its important to mark it and keep him sweet too.
Good Luck with the House..I know from experience it's a big deal but a rewarding experience...enjoy !!
I will look after the announcements ..Fair play to Stephen !!
