After hgis heroics and wonder goal on saturday, i feel we should dedicate a thread to Dean Windass!, what a legend!, at 39 who would have thought he'd be back in the premiership once more after Bradford?, really hope all goes well for Hull, got a soft spot for them!
Cracking goal that he scored, but my god does he like his pies.

He does like his pies, but you gotta give him credit for the season hes had!, maybe he'll go easy on the pies over the summer in preparation for the top flight!
Hes a bit partial to the odd Dodgy Barnet aswell!!

Delighted for Windass and Barmby. Good goal to seal it too.

Windass is a legend. Last season he was top-scorer at TWO clubs: Bradford and Hull.
Didn't he score twice that time Middlesbrough beat Arsenal 3-0 (and they only had two shots in target) at Highbury?

Pure charachter. Some strike yesterday too. I was readin does the most training on the squad and hes after losing loads of fat and converted it to muscle. Fair play to him, good football story. If a video is put up on youtube we should try put up the link, goasl i could watch over and over

Gotta love the guy. Especially for the name. And the fact he worked up his way through the lower divisions. He's played in the Premiership before for Middlesbrough hasnt he? But really hope he makes his mark in the Premiership nxt season.

For him and Barmby, two local lads to get them up is unreal.Biggest city in Europe never to have had a football team in their premier division

Class goal by him on Friday, technique was brilliant.
I'll bet you a pint?
He will see very little action in the Premiership and he barely managed that total in 37 Championship games.

I hope Hull at least use him as a squad player next year but I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't make the step up with them at all and signed for another Championship club during the summer.

Great to see hometown heroes dragging their club into the Premiership. Hope they dont do a Derby next season.

I think Bristol City were more likely to do a Derby seen as Gary Johnson has never managed in the Premiership and they would've gone up two years in a row.
At least Phil Brown has some knowledge of the Premiership. He was Sam Allardyce's assistant for years.
