Anyone know off the top of their head who takes spot kicks for each club? Bit of a pain trying to go back through fixtures/results as not all lists say if a goal was a penalty or not.
Shamrock Rovers - Padraig Amond (taking over from Purcell recently)
Bohs - Killian Brennan
Cobh - John Kearney
are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.
Oh and who would you consider the best taker in the league...I cant think of anyone hugely reliable!
Mooney for us and he's the coolest striker in front of goal Ive seen at the club in a long time(miss against Bohs aside)

Keith Foy for Sligo Rovers but given that he rarely plays its Fahrudin Kuduzovic

I'd say Jayo Byrne would be our 1st choice although Brennan isn't bad at them either. They've both scored two of them this season.

Connor Sinnott would take the pens for the Youths. Realiable enough although he did miss in Limerick this season.

There have been enough penalties in Limerick games this season for me to remember but normally its Shane Tracy(when fit).
Since he has been injured Tommy Barrett and Donie Curtain have taken penalties.

Cawley for Bray.
Gethins took our last one.

It used to be Damien Lynch, I think now it's normally Robinson or Byrne.
Wouldn't be surprised if Joey Kenderick could take a peno either.

UCD have gone through a half dozen this year, most of them missing at least one.

We have two kickers.
Stephen O'Flynn and Alan Keane, either could be likely to step up!!
Trevor Vaughan when starting,David Crawley otherwise

Stevo scored the pen to seal our win V IFK Goteborg. Not afraid to step up to the plate. He's still a mad man though lol
Ours would be Farren.

The appropriately named Freeman for Shels

Best taker in the league would be Alan Cawley in my view.
Gilberto has answered the Galway United Qs.

Vinnie Sullivan takes them for " The Blues ".
Ye ours is Farren when ever we get them. 2 Pens in the whole of last season and we missed 1 of them against waterford. We have only conceded 2 goals in the last 8 matches and both of them were pens. Think enough said

Robbie Doyle for Fingal. 3 of his 6 goals were pens.
Kevin Murray took tonights spot kick for Cobh.

Vinny won't be let near one again for a very long time to come! :D
He won't have bothered you on the penalty scoring front this season anyway Jicked. ;)
The new regular taker will be Dave Warren I'd guess. He scored one at Wexford in the first match.

As John said, most of our team have missed penalties so far this year. Conor Sammon is the best penalty taker I've seen in the league.

As A said, Gethins took our only penalty this season. Id say if we ever get another penalty Holmes or Parkhouse would be ahead of Conor in the pecking order.

Carey was Cobh's main penalty taker last season. Major lack of confidence for all the players though. Murray our 'Top Goal Scorer' took it this weekend as said already. I think our central defender top scorer will be the main man for the moment. 1 scored 3 missed for us so far this season.:o
