Anyone go se ehim in the village last nite? Thought he was a bit poor. Seemed to just lash thru as many songs as possible to the point that they were unrecognisable. Altho did great Neil Young cover.

I thought he was okay, not anywhere near as good as I've seen him in the past though. He got more into it as he went along and finished strongly with in his two encores so I went home happy. The crowd weren't great to be honest (they didn't seem to klnow his solo work) and the microphone problems would put off any artist

Yeah he deffo finished strongly but like you said hes been way better in the past. He did a couple of the last Lemonheads album that sounded great I thought. Unusual mumble about playin Bohemian Grove at the end....

I'd still advise people to go and see him in Dolans in Limerick or wherever else he's playing. The man is just very likeable, plays great pop songs and given a better venue he can produce a great gig. I met him in Limerick a few years back and he was going on about how much he loved Dolans Warehouse and the crowd there so I reckon he'll be in top form for that one.
