I agree.

He currently plays for the A team so would be good to see what he can do with the reserves. :D

I remember thinking how bad Guthrie was when he was with us and he moved down to ye and it worked for him.

To be fair-Admir isn't a bad player. We just pushed him into replacing George when he was too young to do so. And then we signed a large number of central midfielders so he's not got a proper chance since then.

His positioning for a central midfield player is poor, however I actually think he could do well for Cobh if they took him on load. Especially if ye play two players like Kearney and Barret behind him who'll do the running. His passing is extremely good and I remember certain games(The shams one where we were one down and Denis scrambled one in to get a draw springs to mind) were he controlled the game from the middle. It helped Shams played two centre halfs in midfield sitting deep that day though:(

I think ye're well capable of that particular feat even without Admir ;)

In response to the orginal question-not anymore. He's just left to go back to Bosnia.

Are you serious? Has he signed for someone over there? Still 6 months on his contract and we might need him for the rest of the season.

Has he just gone on holidays to meet his family or what?

Yeah, i'd agree there. He just seemed happy to pick up the cheque each week.

Not signed for anyone but you'd have to think he will. He is a handy player-despite never quite breaking through here-despite early promise.

I'll always remember watching him against Red Star (I was there in the stadium and all!:D)-where he was quite probably our best player on the night-and I know he was treated dreadful while there (In the airport, etc).

Best of luck to him anyway-hopefully he'll get his game somewhere else!
