Embarrassment. Joke of an attendance. No effort by Limerick in the second half. Big changes needed in transfer windows of June/July me thinks. :(

Possibly the worst Limerick performance in years last night. We were embarrasing in the second half. We lacked all the basic qualities needed to play football at any level : Heart (except for Derek,Tommy and Wayne as usaul), determination, interest and some skill. We are tactically inept at the moment and are carrying at least 6 players who are not LOI nor Junior Standard.

When we got past the half way line we panicked and hoofed it aimslessy forward. I felt sorry for Derek, Tommy etc having to deal with some of the passes to them last night. As for our 2 Full backs , well, I'd rather not go there ;-)

We need about 6-7 Players in the window or last night's attendance (or less)will be the norm. You can't blame people for not shelling out hard earned money to watch that Sh**e on a weekly basis.

I hear what you're saying but will it solve anything?
Kerley for the boot maybe. What do you guys think? I'm not going on a witch-hunt, just asking the question.

He should be given til the end of the season. Honestly I think he's a good coach, but he needs someone out there signing players for him because his judgement ain't great

i was one of the few on here willing to give Mike K a chance when he was appointed however after last night i will have to revise my opinion. Some of you guys got it spot on i'm afraid. I've seen some awful drivel at football match's over my 40some years on this planet, but last night, especially the 2nd half was the worst.
Mike seems to have a mental block in relation to players playin in their best positions(Staunton anyone). the 2 full backs were not even decent junior level and we had a good full back(White) playin CB! D.Curtin is never a left midfield but would have done a better job at LB. Why O why do we hoof the ball up the field when we must have the smallest strike force in the league. Tommy B can play in most positions but up front is not one of them. If we buy 1 player in the transfer window please let it be a keeper. Jimmy Fyffe on the bench last night,go figure.
They'll never get any more attending than last night until they start playin decent football (at a min). I would be embarrased to invite someone to a game at the moment and they only offer up that crap to watch.
Come on L37 get the finger out!

I see from Mr Jack Mc Carthy's programme notes that due to the weakening of the Dollar against the Euro that he will have little money to give to Mike to sign players when the window re-opens................

I thought Tommy was a centre forward for Fairview?? Didnt he score a lot goals for them and when he was signed by Limerick Im pretty sure he was still playing as a forward.

Open for correction mind.:o

true but he played more these last few seasons as a midfielder and looks more settled there.Even this season at CB i thought he was good.

he started off as a midfielder for limerick and played a couple of games up front about half way through the season about 2 years ago. he also played in goals for one maybe even 2 games

lads, was at the match on tuesday. apart from Tommy Barrett and number 2 (Brendan Daly?) i wasn't to impressed with Limerick. I stood behind the bench for the first half and tought that Kerley could have been a little more vocal and tough on his players. there was no leadership on the pitch.

Obviously, as a Youths fan, I don't expect us to get on too well. But I think L37 are on a bit of a slump (which all teams do), The Youths have put in a few weak performances lately and serious questions have been asked, believe me, but there is no talk about managers out or throw the baby out with the bath water etc., can you not get behind your team and regroup????
