Just on the news on newstalk. Joey Barton has just recieved a six months prison sentence for the assault in Liverpool.

Heard Keegan gave a statement for the court case defending Bartons character. Now I'm all for sticking up for your players through thick and thin but this was really pathetic. Barton should have locked up for sticking a burning fag in a trainee's face a few years back and should have got a much longer sentence this time

To punch a guy in the face whilst sitting on him 20 times is disgraceful. For the lad to only come away with a few missing teeth must either mean that Barton punches like a girl or the lad has an iron head and should consider a career in boxing.

He is pure scum:mad:......after punching Dabo in the temple,rendering him unconscious for over SIX minutes, he continued to punch him in the face:eek:........what a really "hard man".
