Highly recommended 5-6 day holiday. Was looking for an unusual holiday this year and decided to head to Norway in late Feb. The country is lovely and has some fantastic scenery. Originally, I wanted to do a fjord tour along it's west coast but decided to head up into the artic circle to witness the Northern Lights. Checked out prices for package tours which were priced at near 1.5k, very pricey. To cut corners and costs I booked everything for my girlfriend and I. On finalising the trip I had eveything including extra activities such as Northern Light with Husky sledding, Skiing and various Artic mueseum tours along with one night in Oslo for e960. If well into extreme sports such as skiing and snowboarding I would recommend Norway for a short holiday. Was facinated with tromso 'Paris of the North' as its called. Also it's meant to be staging the Winter Olympics in 2018 so expect the town to develope there infrastructure and winter sports activity centres. One thing is, eating and drinking out in Norway is rediculosly expensive.

Everytime Tromso is mentioned I'm immediately transported back to Tromso-Chelsea, Vialli's hattrick and Jonathan Pearce's mad, mad Channel 5 commentary.
