DUBLIN CITY extended their lead at the top of the eircom League First Division to four points with a well-deserved victory over Limerick at Whitehall last night.
Paul Crowley headed the Vikings ahead on 55 minutes and then Alan O'Connor steered in Gavin Doyle's cross to make it 2-0 on 70 minutes. Ross Cosgrave reduced the deficit a minute later but the home side made the game safe on 85 minutes through Gavin Doyle.
