Early august if its the same as last year,
Whats going to happen so with newtown and park joining together,the tournament will be missing a team,maybe an invite for rineanna or newmarket this year might be good idea.:ball:

i'm sure you will still be able to field teams it is usually based on last seasons squad ... would make a couple of intresting games if newtown a/b v park a/b happened would be intrested to see if both sets of players were up for it :D:D

I'm sure Newtown and Park could enter as seperate teams as its last years squads but Newtown A managers have resigned as of last Sunday. Shame as they still have 2 area finals to play.

Bunratty would be interested in entering an A and B team for this summers Wesely Webb if it was possible.

Thats true. Last years competition wasn't finished either. wonder will it start a bit earlier this year.

tournament was started to include only shannon teams and as it is a memorial tournament it should not be changed to much
having said that not to many players round shannon would know who wesley webb was and his involvement in shannon football. plus the rivalary between clubs seems to have ended as well ... would still have made a very intresting game newtown v park rangers :D

I dont think nothing will be mentioned about this till all the clubs are back training again,hope they finish it this year pity what happened last year by leaving it a bit late to get it kicked off,by the time the semi finals were scheduled,all the clubs had the season started in there leagues.
