Dublin City have decided to appeal the recent suspensions of Manager John Gill and goalkeeper Robbie Horgan. Both men were send off during the recent league victory over Sligo Rovers at Whitehall.

During a second half tussle involving a number of people from both sides four people were dismissed, both Managers and a player from each side recieved their marching orders, and all duly recieved suspensions.

Speaking to DublinCityFC.com, Vikings Chief Executive, Ronan Seery said "We feel that the punishment doesn't fit the crime, and so we have decided to appeal both suspensions. I can't really comment further, we will just have to see what the decision of the appeal is."

Both appeals will be heard within the next fortnight
