Gareth was rushed to hospital recently to have a tumour removed from his pancreas.

Hopefully he will have a full and speedy recovery.

Get well soon Gareth.

*I know he's not everyone's favourite person but this kind of illness in someone so young is horrible. If you can't wish him a speedy recovery please jst ignore the thread

Apologies if its in the wrong place

Very sad to hear about Farrelly....he was a great passer of the ball even after he came back to Bohs and on to Cork , however lazy he appeared to be....I wish him a speedy recovery and thoughts and prayers are with him and his family..sometimes in life there are far more important things than football. :ball:

I was just think about Farrelly the other day. I was wondering why he wasn't in the Cork team. Regardless of what I think of him as a manager or a player, you don't want to wish that on anyone. Get well soon Gareth. We're all thinking of you.

I'll be honest I wasn't one of the Bohs fans who hated him at first as I always try to see the good in people. by time he left Dalymount my feelings were more of regret than anger or hatred (regret that it didn't work out not regret that he was leaving) So that said, get well soon Gareth hope it all works out

again best wishes. Met him once in the Blackthorn Bar South Boston, during Irish tour. Nice man, saw him play last summer for Cork and he still could pass the ball.

Only heard Beglin mention it last night on the match. Lousy news but I heard he's on the mend.
Get well soon Gareth.
