this changing the fixtures is a load of ********. the date for the heineken cup final was known for a year and the friendly against serbia for months. it smacks of unprofessionalism and last minute decisions. its unfair on people who might have booked work off.

yes changed to half 5 kick off has always worked vefore. We changed for ucd and made **** all money off it.We cant afford to clash with city. Also if you changed the game to half 5 kick off, presuming the ireland game is kick off at half 7, 7.45, theres money to be made for the bar. But na, we dont want to do that

Unfortunately this has become a common occurence. When theres money to be made the club seem to run a mile. eg: road signs and changing match dates to accomadate a match thats on tv! The club then realise they lost out and come back and try to blame us like with the road signs.

there will be a lot of people who will go down to the club, watch the rams game and then go in to guzzle scoops in the bar while watching the friendly. and as bella said, a good opportunity for the club to make a few bob. i personally dont really care about the friendly but a lot of others do.

the worst thing is the way changing fixtures looks, it dosnt look good to be changing them regularly, that will be 2 in space of a month for us.

It's hardly last minute. This was known almost two months ago. See the 15th post on this thread: http://foot.ie/showthread.php?t=86471

well you knew it 2 months ago and in fairness inform people with that post, but i didnt see it and i have all the programmes with the fixture lists.

its not harps fault but the people in our club doing there last minute thing as usual. the vast majority of people didnt know that game was changed.

City are away to Bray that night so no worries about clashing home fixtures that weekend.
