What do people think are chances are? Personally after last week's display not to confident would settle for a draw.

Is there many people travelling to the match?

Going by our preformance against Sporting Fingal i can't even see us getting a draw.A big improvement is needed all round!

I'll be travelling, more in hope than expectation though after last week. The display against Fingal was terrible, we made a poor team look good. If we play like that against Waterford, we'll ship four or five goals easily.

not really living up to your name Optimist

The performance against Fingal was terrible but there were good things to come out of it the players know it was poor and want to do better shows then want to be playing. Also last year playing that badly we would have shipped 4 or 5 goals against teams at the level at Fingal.

The lads know they were ****e last week and it hurt them badly. It's time for them to pick themselves up and go for it again this weekend. I just hope the formation makes more sense this time round!!

The formation never seems to make sense. All i know is that its 352 or 532, same difference, i was late for the Shels game and surprised to hear on SE radio that they were playing with a flat back 4, lo and behold when i got there it was the same old formation.

On a side note does anyone know:

Is Flynn O'connor back for good? I heard he had left to go full time GAA with Duffry rovers and the county, good luck to him if so and unlike Meyler the hurling meyler i wouldnt begrudge him that, fair play to wallace for taking him back if so. What is the story.

How long is Murphy out?

Where is Hawkins?

Why does Ducker play sweeper is beyond me. He doesn't have the game to play there. Has Murphy lost the weight? Seen him at the Waterford game at the start of the season he was fairly overweight.

Ducker was poor in the WD game but has played a lot better there since, cut out the fannying about and "put in out when in doubt", Murphy looked leaner in the brief appearance he made in the Shel's game i think.
Also what happened to that forward we were meant to be getting from Monaghon i think it was, Gorey lad?

Who now? What happened to Eric Bradley, is he still with the club?

Eric Bradley has joined the Wexford Gaelic team and has left the Youths. The Gorey lad is Willie Doyle, FAI Development Officer for Wexford, played for Monaghan but has recently signed for Sporting Fingal.

Mick seems to be committed to playing a sweeper and Ducker is our only option with Rossi gone.

Are they players getting paid at all, i always wondered the way that worked with the Youths. Expenses i'd say are covered by Mick.

Just to mention that Johnny Flynn O'Connor seems to be back. Came on as a sub. against Sporting Fingal and played most of the match against the Kerry League (not 100% sure if he actually started).

Think he has a huge contribution to make to the team as one of the few players comfortable playing in a wide position with Locky missing.

Flynn O'Connor is back and word is for good. I think Hawkins is injured he went off at half time last home game. Murphy is meant to be back tomorrow night.

Rumor is that Willie Doyle has signed for Fingal.

An updated squad is now available on official site a few number changes and a few extras. Aaron Harpur has left the squad.

Is this Willie Doyle any good? Who did he play for in Wexford Junior League if any?

Great to see Flynn o'Connor back, glad to see there was none of the bitterness like when a hurler recently left Wexford for New York, manager bad mouthing him in the press etc. Welcome back.

As for Ducker i tought they took him off against Longford as they were bombarding us with high balls and he hasnt the height for it.
