Sourced all those clips through video tape that was converted to dvd. VCR's weren't mainstream when Rovers won the league in 1977 and not even sure had RTE cameras at the Showgrounds that day.

There was a camera at the Shams game in 77 but RTE erased most of the footage, 6 minutes remains including 2 of the Rovers goals and interviews with McGee and Sinclair, it was shown at the 77 night in the Radison and a good few people have it on disc around town.

The '77 stuff is amazing - never saw it before. I was just about old enough to start taking notice of football, and thought I was supporting the best teamn in the world - these days I just know it. :)
