I actually had the misfortune of meeting Michael Cahill. If his arrogance is standard at rte god help them. When he said he was a dj I just mentioned some of the stations I would listen to and why. He then proceeded to try and berate me in a really smug way about how I wouldnt know anything about a commercial radio station. Eh no Im only a potential listener....anyway...hope they go down the tubes...oh I also said well my taxes pay for it and he claimed licence fee money doesnt go to 2 fm.All and all one of the least endearing people I have ever come accross outside of the leader.

Gareth O'Callaghan is on Galway Bay FM every morning 6am to 10am. He is still as witty as ever. You can listen on-line but switch off at 10am or you will hear provincial broadcasting at it's worst.
Also, new Galway based station i102 have a show every Friday presented by Hector and Tommy Tiernan. They interviewed Jeff Kenna and poor Jeff sidn't know what hit him. Verry funny indeed.
