lets bring a little bit of fantasy football to foot.ie and i'll pose the following question, if you were manager of de town for a day and you could do three things what would they be ??????

i'll get the ball rolling, not don't just disagree with me, say what you want but also make your three suggestions so that we can all see what your made of !!!!

1) show michael Dempesy the left side of the pitch so he can send an odd kick out or pass tp sean prunty, you know when sean is all alone roaring and shouting for the ball !!

2) ok once again i'm saying this, sign Brian Mcgovern and make him captain ( xlex that is for you !! )

3) sign midfielder/forward sean finn from ucd, he can play on either side of midfield or upfront, three positions for the price of one !!

so there are my three sugesstions, i'll now hand it over to the rest of yee !!!

first of all, make sure Brian Byrne is in every team.

secondly, make sure the sidelines are never narrowed again...

and last of all, perfect set pieces... and sign a top defensive midfielder

BTW, it's on the official board that Brian Mc has signed a two year deal after this season, he is only on loan as he couldn't sign for three different teams in the one calender year...:)

1. Id rename it Cork City 2. that way people from all over the country would come and support ye instead of the farmers who drag silage and manure in with them. The clean up job is just too damn costly lads
2. I d employ ahhh Ryan Lennox as chairman and ahhh Pat Doland as manager and that way Cork City 2 would become the 2nd best team in the country.
3. id sign two strikers called ahh ron o flynn and jorge o callaghan and that way maybe city 2 could think they have a chance of winning the champions league as well

And if some of ye longford fans are very happy with these proposals as i am sure ye are i could maybe come up and handle the delicate process. Look i ll be up for thursday

Not drinking that day Tom eh?

Good proposals though as you seem like a sound and wise man trying to help those poor misfortunates up in Longford. If only there were more like you ............

1. Fire Mick Dempsey and Darragh Sheridan. Good triers but just not good enough.
2. Would have used 20,000 euro(or what ever amount it took them) that got them out to Portugal and would have bought a new central midfielder. (Beesley from Drogheda possibly)
3. Play Brian Byrne instead of Sean Prunty. Byrnesey is a better player in every sense.

Rubbish, Micheal Dempsey is as good a back-up as we ever had. Remember that long string of **** we one had... Darragh is useful back-up... seems to be always getting a game though..

That €20,000 (or whatever amount) wasn't the clubs to use, it was players subscription towards a holiday together (as far as I know)

If I was to fire a player, I'm afraid it would be Francis, followed closely by Ca$$in...
These two could be on €800 ~ €1000 a week, it would pay for a fine midfielder...

I'd sign Pauro Stapleton and put him in goal for the rest of the season and hope for the best in the play offs (with ucd that is)!

He's injured at the moment so he won't do you much good for a while! He's a good player but a bit of a whinger, he's a big loss for us since he got injured.
