I have used and created them on other forums, would be a good addition.

I don't really use it on forums where I can, but it seems popular. I'd point out that it needs at least one enthusiastic vBookie to set up events regularly.

Sorry, been waiting for vB 3.7 to come out, and I don't want to install anything new until that's firmly bedded in. Come back to me in a month or two and I'll look at it again.

It looks ok, I'd just have the same concerns with this as I did with setting up a Betting forum -- it can be a problem for a lot of people, so I'm not sure it's something I want to enable. We'll come back to that and general technical concerns in a couple months.

What's the story,is there any chance of this being started up?

I need to do an update to vB sometime this week or next, I'll take a look at it then.

AFAIK it's a hack rather than a proper plugin and I'm not happy about that tbh. It'll be a pain in the hole to manage as it'll have to be reintegrated every time I upgrade.

I can't find a version of vBookie that's currently supported, the original (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=65844) hasn't been updated since 2004 and this one (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=94128) hasn't been supported since vB 3.5. If it was an external plugin it might be possible, but it requires hacks to the core vB files, so I'm not willing to install it, sorry.

If someone takes over development then I'll look at it again.
