no harm tbh,like the inter pub it has gone way too serious in the past few years,
what started out as a bit of fun and for a few older lads who used to play to get a few games again has turned into nearly another premier league division,
i cannot understand how the bigger companies feel the need to play guys who are contracted into there company but who work for other companies in there team to make it stronger

I agree, but its also something to do for the junior players around town in the off season, to try and keep/get a bit of fitness going.

There has been a meeting already but I'm informed by a very good source that a second (and possible final meeting) will take place next Tuesday evening 6th May at 7.30pm sharp in The Spotted Dog for final registrations.

TO answer a few questions from above...Yes we have won it the last 2 years in a row so this will be the hatrick....But we would really like to get our hands on the Joe mcKeown,well i would seen as if its my last year playing with analog(the manager must have something planned for me :))

I also agree with abbeyvale that its a good way to stay fit over the summer months..There is nothing worse then those few days after going back for pre-sesson and you are in bits after all the running..Well thats what i think anyways...If u are interested in playing soccer then keep playing as many games as u can as u'll be a long time retired(like i will be soon)...
As for the possibility of getting your leg broken by an unfit person ,well if u are good enough u will avoid these kind of people!! Doubt there will be any place for u on the team monkfish with all your comments(do u actually play ball??)

Also all the crap about summerville players on the Analog team,well to be honest we are a premier club and if u have 3-5 premier players at your disposal and they want to play a bit of ball over the summer then why not use them..Simple as that....There are some other fine players outside that would rather not play as they just dont want to and we leave them alone e.g
pat mitchell(pike) martin neary(fairview) colm heffernan(turned us down a few years ago and we haven;t bothered him since)...And then we have other from OTHER clubs that are fine players and want to play eg willie barrett(prospect) ronan cannon(balla b) clem o connell(geraldines) ger canty(granville b) garrett kennedy(st pauls) ...So bring on the interfirm is all i can say.....Its a good crack also and an excuse for a session at the end of it!! :D

any updates on the interfirm..I hear chorus are putting in a very strong team as well with kelleher,darren o sullivan and alan barry amounst there elite players....Poor Joh can't play though auw!!!!
