Jaws Ryan got the Janesboro job, and a healthy budget to go with it, but this is priceless. Last Tuesday,Declan Considine of Pike, Fairview, Mungret, Limerick FC fame etc, was out on a canvassing mission for Pike with Pa Mullally and James O'Grady and they called to this guy Brian Lawlors house. Connie and Pa Mull went on about how great Pike were, and how good they're gonna be next season if he signs. They rubbish the boro and everyone else, saying that with Connie,and all the rest, Lawlor would make them a great team.
The following Thursday, Connie arrives back on Lawlors door...this time with Jaws in tow, asking Lawlor to sign for the Boro, that Pike are only a shower of wasters etc...
Poor Lawlor was...to say the least...confused!!!
Quite amusing though, and goes to show you how big a rogue Considine is....Jesus, it's nice not to be moaning about Limerick FC for a change......
