I was thinking about getting the train up after work, it says it arrives in galway at 19.16, and im just wonderin is the groung far away from the station, how much would a taxi cost up to it?

taxi probably a nightmare that time of the evening, only about a 15 walk

Rush hour would be over. There will be plenty of taxis waiting outside, especially as it ALWAY rains in Galway on Friday nights. If you want to book a taxi, call 091 561111 for pick up outside Foxes Bar which is 100 meters from the station. I'm guessing it would cost €8ish

There will be cabs outside the station, and at the rank in Eyre Square.
