Eircom A Clubs Shield Competition:

Team: Fennelly, Downing, Wunsch, Cahill, Deady, Cambridge, Long, Liam Doyle, Lally,Grainger, McBride.
Subs: Kerins for McBride(70), Bruton for Grainger(81), Spillane, Daly and Ring not used.

A good draw as Galway fielded a very strong team. They had the likes of Gary Rogers, Ollie Fenn and Stephen O'Flynn playing.
Apparently Rams could have won it late on but they didn't.
