Hi,

Just a reminder about the press conference tonight for Bradio and Tardelli, (just in case that you had forgotten) :)

It will be interesting to see what 'Pro-Venables' crowd ask them :D

Brady has been getting a lot of stick lately, from Keano and Carsley (who is that guy) :D

What did Keane and Carsley say about Brady

Roy Keane allegedly said that Brady was noting more than a translator for trap.

I say allegedly because it was in the star or news of the world can't remember - one of those trash papers

Keane implied that Brady's role would be purely as a translator. The general consensus on this seems to be, that this is Keane taking an opportunity to have a swipe at Brady because he was critical of him during Saipan.

Carsley said that Brady had been critical of the players in the media and he also questioned his credentials as a coach. I think Carsley should realise that most people have to work with people that they don't necessarily like, at some stage in their lives. If he can accept that they share a common goal and that he will do everything he can to improve the form of a team that has been consistently underachieving for 6 years, then hopefully they can have a good professional relationship.

Carsley didn't say very much, hardly anything at all. (http://sports.setanta.com/en/Sport/News/Football/2008/04/07/Internat-Carsley-questions-Brady-role/?facets/football/)

Is this going to be online, or on RTE or anywhere?
What time is it on?

Liam was one of the TV pundits and in the past some of the television pundits haven’t been kind to the players, so I think there will be a bit of anticipation there before things get going.

We’ve not done well and he’s been commentating on what he’s seen, but the comments have not been kind so it will be a little difficult. I’m not sure about Liam’s role and I don’t know much about his coaching ability.

Said more than he needed to, IMO. Get over it, Lee - it's not Brady's job to be kind to players when they haven't done well as you say yourself.

Maybe give him/Trap/Tardelli a chance to actually begin their role before saying that you don't know what he's doing. And go ask Arsene Wenger about Brady's ability - from those comments you'd think Dunphy had been given the job

If I was a pundit I'd have said a lot worse than Brady after some of those shambolic team and individual performances under Stan.
