Can't make the game tonight. silly question then that has probably already been answered here. we've only FM and AM on the radio. I know it's LW252 but does anyone know where RTE One is on the AM frequency?
Cheers

It isn't. They removed it recently. Only longwave now I'm afraid.

It's available online aswell. Don't have the link but you'll be able to find it on rte.ie

I have an old Phillips radio with an LW antenna and it comes in clear as a bell. LW is not as bad as people think.

Thanks to the move to LW, I was finally able to get some reception, if hazy, for the games last night. That said, there is no way that they should have left medium wave - how long was the change advertised?

Why don't they broadcast on the FM version of Radio One too? What is on instead that is so important?

Just check your car radios because my radio has no LW but you can still get it on MW252 which must be LW252 but it says MW instead.

Same with quite a few radios that just have "AM".

If you live near the mast (Kilcock) you can usually get it on 504 MW due to harmonics (remember that from physics).
