Have to say the FAI have been a bit slipshod with this stuff so far this season - releasing the info I mean - they haven't lost the ability to fine. The official site wasn't updated with March's press releases until the last week of the month.

Just wait and see. I am sure if someone comes across them they will mention them.

Used to enjoy, with bemusement, that thread last season. The pettiness of some them would have been hilarious if we weren't talking about clubs with knife-edge turnovers.

On Walk the Chalk here. (http://www.walkthechalk.com/extras.php?cid=19&id=205)

They're on the suspensions page but in the text under the relevant link it lumps the suspensions and sanctions together, they must come that way from the FAI press office.
Pat's not fined for the 7 subs, but both them and ye fined a grand for the shirt saga. And they beat ye 3-2 on the amount of stuff thrown on the pitch. :D

On Walk the Chalk here. (http://www.walkthechalk.com/extras.php?cid=19&id=205)That's just the first week. We knew about them already, posted here a few weeks back.

Yeah I see that that's for the first game alright, but them's the up-to-date fines, anything after that hasn't been handed down yet.
"From Wednesday, 2nd April 2008" it says.
You'll have to wait at least until next week for anything from more recent games. :)

At least there's one league Pats are still top of... :(

Premier Division

St Patricks Athletic €16,350
Sligo Rovers €1,500
Bohemians €350
Drogheda Utd €300
Cork City €250
Bray Wanderers €150
Shamrock Rovers €150
Cobh Ramblers €100
Finn Harps €100
Galway Utd €50
Derry City €0
UCD €0

First Division

Monaghan Utd €250
Dundalk €150
Athlone Town €50
Kildare County €50
Shelbourne €50
Sporting Fingal €50
Waterford United €50
Limerick 37 €0
Longford Town €0
Wexford Youths €0

Overall

Pre-Season €15,000
19-Mar €2,500
26-Mar €1,250
02-Apr €1,200
Running Total €19,950

The weekly figures are taken from extratime.ie - it seems there have been three disciplinary meetings and two press releases (do the FAI fine themselves for missing a week:confused:). Feel free to correct if I've missed any fines.

How did Pats get fined so much?

How did Pats get fined so much?

Couple of statements on the matter

St Patrick's Athletic lose licensing appeal

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Date: Thursday, 28 February 2008 Section: eircom League

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Club Licensing Appeals Body has upheld the decision of the Club Licensing Committee to impose a financial sanction on St Patrick’s Athletic. This was the only appeal against the decisions of the Club Licensing Committee last week when 15 Premier Division and seven First Division licences were awarded.

28/02/2008 [17:16]
STATEMENT ON SANCTION APPEAL
St Patrick’s Athletic Football Club notes the decision of the League and the subsequent ruling of its appeal committee to uphold the fine imposed on the club by the Football Association of Ireland.

It questions the principle of the fine and regards the level as completely disproportionate.

The board of the club will consider its position on the matter in the coming weeks.

and then...

FAI Statement
Date: Friday, 29 February 2008
Section: eircom League
The Football Association of Ireland wishes to refute suggestions in some media outlets that the financial sanction imposed on St Patrick’s Athletic was down to a late processing matter. This is not correct. The club have been informed of the reason for the financial sanction.

So it comes down to the FAI saying to Pats "You know what you did  " and Pats replying "No fair! :(" - very short on actual details from both sides.

I make it (with differences in bold)...

Premier Division

St Patricks Athletic €16,350
Sligo Rovers €1,500
Bohemians €350
Drogheda Utd €300
Cork City €250
Bray Wanderers €200
Shamrock Rovers €150
Cobh Ramblers €0
Finn Harps €100
Galway Utd €50
Derry City €0
UCD €0

First Division

Monaghan Utd €250
Dundalk €150
Athlone Town €50
Kildare County €50
Shelbourne €50
Sporting Fingal €100
Waterford United €50
Limerick 37 €0
Longford Town €0
Wexford Youths €0

Cobh don't appear (or else my search function is broken), Bray got two E50s and a E100 (just like a scratchy) and Fingal had two lads sent off in the first game at E50 a pop.
