Got a txt today from L37 to say that they signed a peter white;who the f... is peter white and more important how good is he?

He was with our U21's last year, got a lot of games with the senior team, was prone to the odd mistake at first but really came on towards the end of the season so much so that he is now a firm favourite with many fans, myself included :)

I must re-iterate once again having watched our pre-season though- Peter is many things but a centre half he is NOT, I repeat NOT!

Peter White did play a few senior games last season and IMO he was a bit raw, but he is from the NOSE (Noel O'Connor School Of Excellence, AKA Mary I) and has improved some bit but could do well as he has a great engine (Noel says) :rolleyes:
