Tickets are selling well for this much awaited game it should be a sell out. But are we up for it. This is an appeal to all Ramblers fans to bring as much colour to the game as possible, flags, scarves etc as much as you can. I have 2 20x 10 flags ordered so they should be noticed. After seeing the highlights on MNS and attending the Derry game, we can handle the mighty City.
I know its a pun but we need to be the 12th man and get behind the team. I wonder if this was put up in some pubs around would it get some interest! Is it worth a poster:D

Wouldn't it be much better if the half time entertainment were girls like her and not the Billy Barry school of dance or whatever you call em :)
I reckon we'd win every home game and get huge crowds

Haven't looked forward to a match like this since the cup final.
Hopefully it lasts more than a year.

If we can be as loud as we were up in Dalymount last year it'll be some experience.

This is one game where I'll definately be jealous of those that are there come Saturday night :(. There's nothing quite like being involved in a derby with your biggest rivals with a big crowd watching the game.

Watch all these Cork City fans vanish into the backround if they come to Cobh and get a draw or lose to us.

I cant wait for this. My first real derby. Hopefully a great game and a cracking atmosphere.

Id expect Cobh to be well up for it but obviously gutted if we dont win.

Hopefully a sell out

New sound system gone in today. I heard that theres 20 speakers now + a roaming microphone and the big tri-colour with Cobh Ramblers on Tour has been found too.

Plenty of cameras meant to be in attendence too.
MNS are apparently doing a special on the game and the Cork City fans who'll be coming down on the train.

ramsfan

Mad excited.
What kind of a relationship are we meant to have with ye for the two hours?
That's been irking me for a while.

Shall i bring my happy friendly el face with me to swap a scarf or will i chant vicious anti-Sonia O'Sullivan vile at the nearest local?

Happy Derbyday eve lads!!!!

The job.
See ye in the rams bar so beforehand.
Actually on that note, would the place be far too crazy at half 5 or will it be an efficient operation with extra staff and understanding barstewards?

Can you realistically see trouble happening? And if so, why?

talk of trouble should end here and now, no chance of anything, we have about 5 scummy under 18 year olds who will be doing the city nacker routine, but id expect the city fans to look beyond that. No trouble, tension and massive rivalry but no trouble end of.
