Quick Penalties

This is a total anorak question but Limerick 37 must have set some sort of record for quick penalties in their last 2 games.

They scored from penalties in the 87th and 89th min against Wexford last week and then Wexford missed one in injury time.
Yesterday Sporting Club scored in the 1st min from a penalty.

That's 4 penalties in the space of 4 minutes - surely some sort of record!

Galway got a penalty against us in nine seconds last year. Be doing well to beat that! And we were level 68 seconds later.

But yeah, four in four is impressive!

Just to point out in our three games this season there have been five penalties and all the goals (2 for, 2 against) we have seen this season have come from the penalty spot!

No goals from open play in 270 minutes is nothing new for us but this penalty glut is getting a bit freaky.

Especially when you consider that all bar the two penalties Limerick got were shocking decisions and should never have been awarded. :ball: :p
