I'm starting to have a very bad feeling about this season for some reason (which is harsh as I've not even seen the team yet bar one pre-season game that was actually quite encouraging).

So I'm going for a dour draw tonight. We'll say 1-1.

I'll go for a 2-1 win for us, more in hope than expectation.

as ye keep reiterating.. this is a chat forum of opinions... whether people like the opinion or not!!
2 dodgy penos awarded and ye think its all roses in the garden again..???

why were they dodgy Booster? what happened?

I know one fella handled the ball on the line preventing a goalscoring opportunity, how the ref gave that to be a penalty is beyond me too !!! what happened for the other one?

its all roses in the garden again..???

Until our next game its a very rosey garden indeed!

.....and as Terry said, how were the pens dodgy?

You do realise that Wexford were awarded a penalty aswell ya and rightly so.

They werent dodgy, it was the strangest last 5 minutes of a game ive seen in a while.

No one is saying its all rosy in the garden, just good to get the first win of the season under the belt.

How has young Tracey started this season lads?

He has played very well in the two games so far.

Where would he usually play for Galway? He has played left back for us.

I think his defensive positioning isnt the greatest but going forward he is class. Would be best suited to left midfield in my opinion.

If you really think that either penalty was dodgy then you either:

A) weren't at the game and are doing more subpar trolling or

B) were at the game and need somebody to explain the notion of handball to you.

Further to this I defy you to show me one post in this thread where anybody suggests that all is 'rosy in the garden again'. I still think we're quite poor, the other night just showed that Wexford are too.

Ah leave him alone lads, he's obviously another bitterballer so wants to see us get beat.

the couple of games he played, he was used as a left-back as there was no dropping Derek O'Brien last season. He started well, but then Richie Baker tore him to shreds when the drogs played us at terryland and he never recovered from that. Pity, as the guy is good enough, but as you said he is probably more suuited to a more forward role.

Do you think he will make it at Galway? Only on loan to us until June so will it be worth hes while going back up to ye in June or will he just be sitting on the bench until the end of the season

Terry

I think he's returning to play in the A league or whatever it is with us. Plus, Tony is only sending him out on loan to get experience and on his return will be fighting for a new full time contract.

With the greatest of respect it's quite a come down for a guy who spent a coupla years at Arsenal. The A League? Wow... surely he'd be better off with us?

We've all heard the Arsenal rumours! ;)

Surely better off playing First Division??

Sheesh Ultra, it's not Brazil!! Show some pride!!

If Ciaran Foley made it up there, I'm sure Mr. Treacy (or any of us with a pair of boots for that matter) are in with a reasonable shout.

there was no dropping Derek O'Brien last season.

Aw, Derek.

Do you remember when he was a headless garbage man??

It's good to reminice sometimes :)
