Did he play at the weekend (didn't get to read the reports) if so how did he do?
Did rightly, and scored the winner.
Can we keep him?

Ah good man Shaun. Great to see him doing well - I really hope we eventually bring him into the Drogs first team and not spend years farming him out to only off load him at some point.
I can only assume the loan has clause built in that he cannot play against us.

Shaun looks a smashing player, he played left mid on friday. He gets stuck into tackles and was brave in getting his goal under pressure from the Cobh defender.
Now can we keep him.

sorry I don't think he will be allow stay - be careful in terms of depending on him, see what happened Dundalk when he was pulled back into the Drogheda setup during the season, it had a major impact on their performance.
If cahill keeps playing muck for us - we might be calling Shaun back sooner rather than later.
Do you want Ollie Cahill - we will throw in a burger and chips? :D

Higgsy reckons he'll be the best player in the league in a few years. He was buzzing about him when he signed for HArps.

Is that what yer feedin him? Well that explain it all then. :p
In fairness we have good cover for Williams in Brolly, also if Minnock comes back to full fitness he can be put back out to left back with Shaun Holmes moving up to left mid.

He was called back to Drogheda for like a week. He got injured when he came back to us then.

details details - fact is his unavailability did have an impact.
Ollie Cahill: Feed him burger and chips - have you seen him - looks like we just give him bread and water (skimmed water) :D
So does anyone want Ollie? We are putting him on ebay tonight. holidaysong would Duns be interested - quality signing and all that - doesn't cost a lot ot feed.

Williams looks a good player.Good awareness of whats happening around him and always seemed to find a player in a Harps shirt.Have a feeling he will look even better when pitches have a chance to dry up a bit.

Loan deal ends June 30th. It was the same with us last year - then when the deal ended, Drogs started messing about in July when we wanted to extend the deal. They took him back and played him in an under-21 game against us, and then eventually decided to send him back to us at the end of the month without even giving him a run in their team (though he was on the bench in the game at home to Galway which was called off).
Same will probably happen with Harps this year. Hegarty should have made sure to get a season long loan.

To be fair we didnt " mess about " . Sean williams is a Drogheda united player and to my knowledge we were paying some of his wages and maybe still are .So we can do what we want with him despite the incovenience it caused Dundalk .Heres our player and our priority is obviously Drogheda utd and not Dundalk .If we take him back i would love to see him get a run in the team with all the good reports ive heard about him .

That may have been the case, but why take him back for just a couple of weeks without even giving him a run in your team, before eventually deciding to send him back to us? It affects Shaun too not knowing where he's going to be. I hope if you take him back from Harps in July this year, you actually give the lad a chance this time and don't start disrupting his season again, as well as Harps'.

I hope we take him back aswell tbh .But from what ive heard about last seasson some of the problems came from the player himself and his refusal to go back to dundalk .Dont know for sure but as i said as long as we look after number 1 i.e drogs i will be happy.

Hes no winger. He should be pushed up forward.
Hes slow and ALWAYS cuts inside. He NEVER takes his man on and he NEVER crosses the ball. Hes basically an extra attacker.
Hes good at tracking back and has a great shot. Scored one from 35 yards and another close one from 25 yards. Hes too slow and awkward to be a left winger, a bit like Kevin Kilbane.
Up the Harps :)

He's a central midfielder. Started on the left wing with us also, but came into his own when moved into the middle.
