the season tickets should be available to buy on-line, at the moment the prices arnt even on the site. galway sold hundreds the week after they were promoted. season ticket sales are good as the club gets the money even if the person dosnt show to a agme, it also encourages ppl to keep coming.

i must also comment on the local press coverage or build-up to the 1st home premier game in over a decade, its practically non existant,wat does marco be doin with his time.?????????

I'll be dropping off posters to the Clubhouse later this evening and will put them behind the bar for those that need them.

The Seasob Tickts are availabe from the Club Office and if you've paid for your before Saturday then there's nor reason why you shouldn't have it for Saturdays game, however, do it tomorrow or Friday at latest as I won't be printing any on Saturday.

That's about the best I can do anyway.

What wasn't done, is this your gripe time again? 1 person helped last season with posters. As for the road signs, sign does not have them ready till Thur morning, so it is out of my hands unless you want to have ones done by marker?

I think you should contact the local press then and ask them, maybe they will put aside the horse racing coverage for ya, if you dont know what I am doing then you dont visit the club very much! Would you like a list ...

i have to say i find your questioning of marco to be very harsh, what more do you want the promotions officer of the year or whatever he got to be doing, he said two valuable points there, one being the fact the sugns arent ready till thursday, whatcan he do, fair enough should have tried to get them earlier, but when your contending with cheltenham, champions league and uefa cup and prem games midweek dont expect anything until friday as usual on the papers...

there was no posters up in the town last year in pubs, mimmos, bookies. now that luke has made posters available i will put some up. i am not having a go at you. i asked for posters that could be put up in those places last year and they werent made available i asked this year and its been done, simple.

its obvious that your not going to get much press coverage during the week with all that is going on but i never said you should be all i commented on was that people i know that were in athlone didnt even know we were playing at home this saturday as they seen or heard nothing. these lads aren't passionate prob never will be but they turn up to games when they can and this is what we need.

Not making excuses Bella the signs and match posters were ordered a month ago, I want these sign out as there are very visable both day and night. I got the match posters this morning. I am easing the work load by getting the posters sponsored. On top of this we have introduced a new system for the programme as it will be printed inhouse, as will any posters, flyers etc from now on, I will be over seeing the programme for the season, MoD will be editor, The programme, to be done properly is a full time job and MoD and Mark Irwin have done huge work to get it ready, it will be all colour. I have been to 13 schools in the last 3 weeks plugging the game, presenting an education pack etc. The CPO role has changed in a big way, more general manger type work. Would love if it was as easy as last year! All the papers have been contacted as you will see on Sat. Also my role includes media officer. 96fm will b covering all our home games and will be cover the City game live. So if anyone wants to lend a hand, with road signs, posters, meetings, media, press launches, a little commercial stuff, programme, printing, schools visits, Summer Camp launches, getting interview boards, linking with Colin O'Brien and the RDO's and that just on Mondays:p etc etc...... it would be great!

well marco all the above is great.. why not post a little thing like this every few days to show where you need help im sure some would be willing to help its just flustrating to finally get to the premier and it to seem that nothing is happening!
