Presuming you know how to get to Athlone (heading west on N4/N6), below are directions to the stadium.

Approaching Athlone from the East (N6), join Dual Carriageway at eastern end. Leave Dual Carriageway at Exit No. 2. Turn left on leaving Dual Carriageway. Take first exit off Athlone RSC Roundabout (50 yards). Continue on this road until you see Athlone Town Stadium on your right.

The start of the dual carriageway has been changed. From the roundabout at Kilmartin's N6 Centre (Woodies, McDonalds etc), there is a short two-lane slip-road to another roundabout that brings you onto the dual carriageway proper. Make that your starting point in terms of counting the second exit.
