Interesting, no Arsenal player on that list.

A few way overpaid like Michael Owen for what they contribute.

Definetly proving that this list is a joke. There is people working in Burger King more talented than him.:D

Sure Beckham is 44th, he's on way more money than it says there!

Yep, the same Mandic who got £3m out of the £5m transfer fee that Liverpool paid Leeds. Don't get me started on that Aussie leech:mad:

It's crazy that the likes of Bent and Kewell are earning...sorry I meant "receiving" those huge sums of money, but the biggest fools are the Clubs for paying them!

I was surprised there's no Real Madrid player in the top 10.

Ronaldos next contract at Utd will push him up to the £140,000 mark.
Despite all Madrids bleating I can't see them offering more than that after looking at what their current players are on.

No wonder Abramovic was ****ed at the weekend. I know he's loaded but when your forking out that much a week you expect something in return.

That's unanimous. His transfer fee was £16.5m - good business Mr. Jol

And, to those Muppets above who say this list is rubbish, "Beckham's on more than that" etc., it may just be European but please have some manners and think before slamming the post or fuci off to another thread!

They aren't "slamming the post", I think they mean those players shouldn't be there, rather than that the list itself is inaccurate. Beckham's salary is actually fairly low, most of his earnings would be external, but a lot of that came as part of the "package" in his move.

I seriously doubt the reliability of this list, Spurs have a strict wage structure and Ledley King (along with Keane & 1 or 2 others) is well known to be at the top of it on Circa 60k a week. There is next to zero chance that Bent is on £95k a week.

On an aside, it was Comolli who signed Bent & not Jol

Scram are you crazy that list is complete sh*te. There is no-way Daren Bent earns that money. Are Torres and Gerrard on that money at Liverpool? more to the point can you prove it. Then we have Giggs on the list, Where are Paul Scholes, Gary Neville etc. Portsmouth would be bust if they were paying Sol Campbell that money. Govou, Pauleta and Juninho Pernambucano also on the list? The list is rubbish.
Also Jol publically stated he wanted a defender not an attacker. Two/three weeks before he got the sack

The Torres figure is wrong,he took a pay cut to sign with liverpool and is on 90 grand a week.

You can't say theres no way that players arent on that kind of money unless you have personal access to their finances , it could be true though unlikely in some cases

It's not true there's no hope in hell that the French League can afford those wages? It's just not credable that campbell in on that money..

Lyon have gotten to the latter stages of the Champions League for years now so thats bound to have had some effect on their coffers.Added to that the fees they have received for the likes of Malouda €21m , Abidal €15m , Essien €35m , Diarra €26m , Tiago €13m etc leads me to believe they are not short a bob or two. Plus with the television deal in place in the UK , such wages are not impossible even to some of the midtalble teams.

Ok I'll let you all debate the credability of this site and indeed the article as it says about "a photocopied document" doing the rounds.

Right, we all know that list is codswallop but Totti's income (leaked in the recent publication by the outgoing Italian government of all citizens' tax returns) was €10m in 2005. How much of that came from his Roma salary I don't know.
