I apologise for intruding on your humble forum but I thought i'd get some debate on Saturday's game started.

What is likely to be your first eleven? Positions and that kind of stuff aswel coz i'm clueless when it comes to Ramblers i'm afraid. I dont know much about teams from Kerry you see.:D

Personally I would hope for a 100% improvement on how United performed on friday night. The midfield generally seem to be still on holiday. Along with some other problems that need sorting.

Only a couple of players who could honestly say they did well, IMO.

Conditions werent great but then, they were the same conditions that Bohs were playing in aswel.

Lads, a mate of mine is considering heading down from Croom but is worried about hitting a hape of parades - any idea of the parade situation from Charleville to Colman's??

only town you pass through after Charleville will be Buttevant and you dont have to go through Cork city to get to Cobh

do you turn off before you get to Mallow or something in order to take a route to avoid the city?thats a cu*t of a town for delays.
think we might win this one,if we are aiming for top 6 then we need to be winning it.we need a 70% improvement of last friday though.

its just i use to take the Bus Eireann bus down to cork and it always had to go into the town centre to the bus stop, hence the delays i encountered.thanks to Tir Oilean for that info.

Thanks but that doesn;t really answer my question: are there parades in Charleville, Buttevant and Cobh on Saturday?

You can go Mallow-Fermoy, and then head towards Cork on the M8, which then changes to N8, (still Dual Carriageway, but the colour of the signs are different:rolleyes: ) as far as the 'Dunkettle Roundabout', head East on the N25 (Dual-Carriageway), keep going until you see a sign for Cobh on the R624. Keep going all the way and you'll end up in Cobh.

Forget the Limerick-Cork road, Buttevant is being dug up and Mallow-Fermoy road is useless.

Best road from Galway... Leaving Limerick, take the Waterford/Tipp road and after about 5 miles there's a right turn signposted to Caherconlish and Mitchelstown. It's not a main road but it moves along quite and only passes thru 3 or 4 small villages. From Mitchelstown its a straight blast down the Dublin road to Dunkettle and completely avoids the city. Bring your €1.80 for the toll at Fermoy. (Limerick-Cobh 1h30m)

hopefully we should definitly hit over 1000 anyway,, a win last week would prob have gotten extra 1-200 supporters, but it will be interesting to see the crowd saturday.

first home game i would personally be expecting 2000, we were able to get 1000 at some dodgy fixtures last year, i dont care what numbers are theown around there was over 1000 at 5-6 fixtures in the second half of last year, no buzz about the place,

also while im here was searchin ticketmaster, thye have the city rovers and bohs tickets there but for some reason skipped the U.C.D game

Ticketmaster will be up and running for the City game, as for Galway tickets on sale outside the ground on the night. This will only happen for 1 game as ticketmaster wont arrive at the club till next week. Adult tickets are 15 euro, OAP's & Kids 5euro
